B. PHARMACY 3rd YEAR
General introduction and applications of combinatorial chemistry.

Introduction and application for calculation in in-vitro release of drug from dosage.
Definition, scope, objective and methods of pharmacovigilance.
Definition, Classification of important bioactive agents from marine sources, Study of Marine toxins, Marine biomedicals falling under the class of Cardiovascular, Anticancer, Antimicrobial, Anti-inflammatory and Antibiotic drugs.
B. PHARMACY 4th YEAR
Introduction to hyphenated techniques and their applications in pharmacy like GC-MS, LC-MS, LC-NMR, LC-MS-MS, LC-FTIR, GC-MS-MS, GC-GC-MS, GC-NMR, GC-AES.

|15.||Biostatistics: Applications of mathematics in analyzing the results through statistical techniques like standard deviation, standard error, chi-square test, correlation. Basic statistics-averages statistics of dispersion, coefficient of variation and analysis of variance.|
